NAB / National Association of BroadcastersFor those preparing to get on planes next month and fly to Las Vegas for the NAB Show, you’re not imagining that the event is growing each year.

It is.

The 2015 NAB Show topped 100,000 attendees for the first time since the recession hit in 2008, reports the Las Vegas Business Press. The b2b show generates an estimated $20 to $30 billion of annual sales, according to NAB EVP Communications Dennis Wharton.

More than 1,700 companies exhibited wares across 1 million square feet. Attendees, exhibitors and exhibit space are all expected to increase from 5 percent to 7 percent this year.

Given that increase, the proximity to California an ease of travel for international attendees, NAB intends to keep the show in Vegas, according to the account.

The NAB Show is April 16-21. Register here: http://www.nabshow.com/
