Macy’s Loves Radio, Too

In last week’s Media Monitors Radio Spot Ten, The Home Depot continued to dominate with 62,054 spots making them #1. But the story last week was Macy’s moving from #15 to #2 airing 34,624 spots promoting their Memorial Day sales, while GEICO slipped to #3 running 34,525 spots. The US Department of Transportation urged holiday travelers to bucket-up to the tune of 32,992 spots and Lowe’s came back from #11 to #5 airing 30,635 spots. iHeartRadio leapt from #10 to #6 with 28,365 announcements, while McDonald’s stayed steady at #7 running 25,919 spots. MetroPCS pounded out 21,881 spots making them #8 while Sprint was #9 with 21,292 ads. Coming in #10 was Walgreens running 21,235 spots.
