NielsenIn light of audience fragmentation, Nielsen is forging ahead with its Total Audience Measurement that marries all forms of video viewing with analytics so program producers and distributers can see who is watching, when and on what platform.

That helps those clients pitch the value of their programming to advertisers, according to Nielsen Holdings CEO Mitch Barns.

In announcing the company’s fourth quarter and 2015 year earnings, he highlighted the $1.1B the company delivered to shareholders in dividends and share repurchases.
