Kid Causes Partial NPR Outage

NPR / National Public RadioTake Your Child to Work Day didn’t work out so well for NPR.

With several children in a control room on Friday, one managed to take the network off the air for a portion of the West Coast by hitting control board buttons.

The outage lasted just over one minute, Gawker reported.

Luckily, not all stations were affected, however the network declined to give an exact number of those that were.

An employee took responsibility in a text, explaining he should have supervised the children.
