EntercomEntercom’s KFOX 98.5/102.1, (KUFX) the Bay’s Area heritage rocker, announced that long time Bay Area and KFOX morning personality Chris Jackson will return to host mornings starting December 10th.  Jackson, a San Jose native, is a 20 year Bay Area radio veteran.  He was a member of KFOX’s Morning Show from 1996 to 2010, serving as co-host, creative director and lead writer for the show.  Entercom also announced that morning show host, Annalisa, is no longer with KFOX.

“We’re excited to bring Chris Jackson back to KFOX.  A South Bay native and original member of the air staff, Chris has been a fixture in the local rock and radio scene for decades and he knows how to entertain KFOX’s loyal fans.  His deep rock and roll background will connect with listeners starting on Day 1,” said KFOX Program Director Chris Hoffman. “KFOX was my home for so many years and I couldn’t be more excited to be back at The  Rock Station in the Bay Area,” said new morning show host Chris Jackson. “KFOX has some of the most amazing rock fans in the country and I look forward to starting their day with the music we are both so passionate about.”

KFOX new lineup is:

•         5am – 9am – Chris Jackson Morning Show

•         9am – 12pm – KFOX Commercial-Free Music Block

•         1pm to 7pm – Big Rick Stuart

•         7pm – midnight – Jackie Selby

  1. It was sad to see Annalisa leave KFOG, but the culture there has changed so much that I now listen to more local Sonoma County stations. KFOX sucks in letting her go. She is a great radio perssonality and plays EVERYTHING, including Zappa. Best of luck to you Annalisa.
