SoldRadio group owner JVC Media has outposts in Nassau-Suffolk NY and Gainesville-Ocala FL, and has filed to enter the West Palm Beach market. And now, according to broker Glenn Serafin of Serafin Brothers, it’s turning its acquisitive sights on Orlando.

The station is WHKQ-FM, a Class C2 Spanish AC outlet projecting 22 kW @ 745’ on 103.1 MHz. It serves the Orlando market from its Windemere FL city of license.

The seller, Adam Lindemann’s TTB Media Corporation, is divesting its lone radio property.

Terms of the deal were not made public. However, RBR-TVBR will alleviate this information void at its earliest opportunity.

John Caracciolo and Victor J. Canales head up JVC, and Paul Homer’s Northwood Ventures also has an interest.

Serafin said of JVC, “With four FM stations in the 20th ranked Nassau-Suffolk NY radio market, buyer JVC Media and its affiliated companies are among the largest independently owned and locally operated radio broadcasters and entertainment companies on Long Island. It owns and operates four radio stations serving the Gainesville-Ocala FL radio market. The company also has entered into agreements to acquire three radio stations and two translators serving the West Palm Beach FL market.”
