A report from the payroll processing company ADP indicated that US employers added 216,000 jobs in February. That upbeat news helped stock prices regain some of the ground they lost the previous day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 78 points, or 0.6%, to 12,838. Broadcasting stocks also recovered.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.300, or 0.4%, to 333.912.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.699, or 1.5%, to 251.464.
