Italy sends stock prices skidding – 11/9/11

A worsening financial and governmental crisis in Italy sent shockwaves through stock markets around the globe. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 389 points, or 3.2%, to 11,781. Broadcasting stocks were not spared. SBS led the retreat, but gave up only part of its huge gain from the previous session.


The RBR Radio Index was down 19.802, or 6%, to 313.108.

The TVBR Television Index was down 11.698, or 4.7%, to 235.849.
