Hendrie getting numerous TV gigs this year

2012 has been a busy year for Talk Radio Network–FM’s Phil Hendrie—both behind the mic, in movies, TV and cartoons. Hendrie is set to appear in This is 40, a “sort-of sequel” movie to Knocked Up. Knocked Up was the 2007 hit from writer and director Judd Apatow. This is 40 is a look at the lives of Pete and Debbie a few years after the events of Knocked Up. The movie is scheduled to debut in December.


Hendrie has had a reoccurring role in the TV series New Girl as Joe Napoli. The show revolves around a young women living with thee single men.

In another movie Last Call, Hendrie plays the part of Mulvahill in a story about underachieving siblings who are forced to run the family pub to save their eccentric uncle from jail time and financial ruin.

In the cartoon TV series Napoleon Dynamite, Hendrie has been in six episodes as various characters: Art Doodle, Old Owl Judge, Mr. Masthead, Doctor Jeff. Napoleon Dynamite the TV Series follows the misadventures of an awkward high school teenager and his quirky friends as they struggle to navigate life in rural Idaho. Based on the hit move.

Hendrie also plays Booker Bell in the TV series Modern Family. The show centers on three different, but related, families and the trials they face in each of their own uniquely comedic ways.

The Phil Hendrie Show now airs on over 120 affiliates across the nation, and now clears in 8 of the top 10 markets, where Hendrie’s cast of fictional characters continue to provoke people, while also feeding a circle of social satire.
