Has Viacom’s ‘Ship Sailed’ or Will It Sell Assets?

Viacom-logoWall Street seemed upbeat about the news that Viacom’s board named CEO Philippe Dauman executive chairman, replacing Sumner Redstone (see our other story below).

Viacom’s stock was up 83 cents compared to the day before to close at $48.40.

Viacom’s stock price has fallen more than 40% over the last two years and many are now questioning the company’s next step.
