Guess FM 97.7 debuts in Memphis

Guess FM 97.7Mighty Media Group’s Guess FM, the newest radio station in Memphis, signed on 6/21 featuring a non-stop marathon of all kinds of pop, rock and soul hits. The “Guess What’s Next?” format has something for almost everyone and is unique to Memphis. Similar stations have become among the most listened-to stations in many markets across the country. For listeners in outlying areas, Guess FM is also being simulcast on AM 830 whose signal reaches across several states.


“We’re very excited to launch a brand new station for all types of music lovers here in the Mid-South,” said PD Tom Freeman. “Guess FM takes a fun, casual approach and our broad playlist sounds like a gazillion songs and artists. Listeners can tune in to “Guess What’s Next?” for days or weeks without hearing the same songs over and over and over again like most other stations.”

Mighty Media Group also operates The Rebel 95.3 “Your New Country Leader” and Y105.5FM “Your Country Favorites.”

Guess FM was created in Memphis with the guidance of programming consultant Joel Folger, nationally famous for his Bob FM and Jake FM formats.

  1. I just found this staion. After 15 minutes of listening on a friday night, I’m in. Number one on my dial. and I do mean dial. I’m running vintage audio here in Munford, and its clear as a bell.
