Thursday was a good news day on Wall Street. New US jobless claims were down and then various political factions in Greece finally agreed on an austerity package that will get the beleaguered country more international aid. But the market gained only slightly. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 6.5 points, or 0.1%, to 12,890. Broadcasting stocks, in fact, were lower.
The RBR Radio Index was down 2.439, or 0.7%, to 363.413.
The TVBR Television Index was down 5.040, or 1.9%, to 267.640.
