Great Northern gets a rep

The Tacher CompanyA radio station cluster in the Traverse City MI market has attached itself to Tacher and partner company Michigan Spot Sales for ad rep services.

Great Northern Broadcasting Systems LLC will put four FMs and one AM under the TLC of the rep firms. Included in the cluster are WLDR-FM, WCUZ-FM, WOUF-FM, WBNZ-FM, WARD-AM.

The alliance between the two rep firms is designed to bring national representation, as well as in Detroit, to stations throughout Michigan.

GNBS GM David Barr stated, “Bay 101.9 [WLDR-FM] and rest of Great Northern Broadcasting is looking forward to its association with Tacher and MSS. We are working to move the station to it former leadership position in the market and provide the community with a station that they can be proud of. The goal is to increase sales revenue, and adding a national rep firm to our team is the first step toward achieving this. We look forward to the partnership with Tacher and Michigan Spot Sales.”
