Chattanooga, TN – Luken Communications seeks proven broadcast advertising sales leader. The GSM will be responsible for oversight of sales efforts for seven national broadcast networks. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategic and solution-oriented.

Role Qualifications:
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Organized and detailed manager of company resources
• Conceptual and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to reassess and reorganize when traditional solutions are not available/working
• Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Performance-driven and results-oriented
• Self-motivated and directed

Position Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of advertising sales efforts for Luken Communications’ six national broadcast networks
• Coach experienced sales team to meet or exceed individual goals
• Meet or exceed all company sales goals
• Sales forecasting
• Set team sales goals and analyze performance
• Create and implement strategic plans for salesforce
• Manage special projects and generate ad hoc reports as requested
• Collaborate with other department heads
• Monitor the competition.

Essential skills and experience:
• Sales management experience
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Solid understanding of broadcast advertising sales
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Exceptional research and communication skills
• Ability to work well with strict deadlines
