Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for CBS are approximate. CBS’ PGA Golf overrun aired until 7:14pm, with prime sliding through the remainder of the night. From 7-8pm, a PGA Golf overrun combined with 60 Minutes to deliver a 1.0/4. From 8-9pm, 60 Minutes and Big Brother 14 combined for a 1.9/6. Big Brother joined a repeat Criminal Minds to post a 1.0/3 from 9-10pm, while Criminal Minds combined with a repeat of The Mentalist for a 0.7/2 from 10-11pm.
NBC’s special Primetime: London Gold, posted a 5.7/18 from 7-8:30pm. The 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremonies from London followed with a 9.1/23 from 8:30-11pm, up +32% from the Fast Nationals of the Closing Ceremonies four years ago (6.9/19, 7-10:30p on 8/24/08). With today’s Fast Nationals, the 2012 London Olympics were up vs. the 2008 Beijing games by +3% in Adults 18-49 (9.6/28 vs. 9.3/27) and +10% in Total Viewers (30.5 Mil vs. 27.7 Mil) through its complete seventeen-night run.
