Fox Hispanic Media sets upfront date

Mundo FoxThe marketing and advertising sales arm of Fox’s portfolio of Spanish-language channels and networks, announced its 2013 Upfront presentation will be held in New York City on Wednesday, 5/15 at noon (doors open 11:30 am).  A luncheon will follow at 1:00 pm.  The mid-town location will be confirmed soon.


During the event the group will unveil programming for MundoFox, the newest U.S. Spanish-language broadcast network launched last year; FOX Deportes, the leading Hispanic Sports Network; Utilísima, the woman’s lifestyle network; and Nat Geo Mundo, a non-fiction entertainment network now entering its third year.  This is the third Upfront for FHM, which is dedicated to providing marketers with new choices in entertainment reaching the U.S. Hispanic market under the mantra:  “Latino Entertainment.  American Attitude.”

Upfront attendees will learn about the vision and ongoing programming priorities for the four Fox Hispanic Media entities:

MundoFox – Fox’s new Spanish-language broadcast network catering to the U.S. Hispanic market is a joint venture between Fox International Channels and RCN Television Group.

FOX Deportes – Offers exclusive live sporting events where multicultural and multigenerational Latinos can connect through their passion for sports.

Utilísima – Since its July 2010 launch, Utilísima has become the fastest-growing Spanish-language cable network among women 25 and over.

Nat Geo Mundo – Nat Geo Mundo offers programming from the National Geographic Channel in Latin America that has never aired in the U.S., as well as newly commissioned and acquired original series and specials, complemented by National Geographic Channel favorites repurposed for a Hispanic audience.
