Former US prosecutor lands on radio

Salem Communications' KRLA-AM "News Talk 870" Los Angeles has launched a new daily talk show featuring former Assistant US Attorney Kevin James. The former federal prosecutor took to the airwaves this week, hosting "Kevin James Live" 9-11 pm weeknights.


"Kevin James is a great fit with our conservative hosts. We've been looking for strong local talent to bring in to our evening line-up. "With his extensive experience in high profile entertainment matters, he has a keen insight on issues that impact our community," KRLA Program Director Craig Edwards.

After three years as an Assistant US Attorney in LA, James spent more than10 subsequent years as a litigator in high profile entertainment matters, with regular radio stints to provide legal expertise and commentary to talk radio stations nationwide. In early 2004, James left the legal profession to become a full-time talk radio host, first at KTOK in Oklahoma City, then in Los Angeles where he hosted "Red Eye Radio" on KABC. He has also served as a regular panelist for Court TV's "Catherine Crier Live" and appeared on CNN as a commentator and legal analyst.
