DealWith the application for a radio deal between Columbia Bible College Broadcasting Company and Educational Media Foundation on file at the FCC, we are able to provide a little more color on it. Broker: Mark Jorgenson, Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage

For starters, the $10.5M price tag is indeed the total amount that EMF will spend, but it’s not the total CBCB will get.

That’s because EMF is picking up CBCB’s deal to buy a CP for FM translator W268BU. It’s priced at $150K, which will go to the translator’s current owner, Triad Family Network.

It will come as no surprise that EMF is seeking main studio waivers for all three of the full power stations, so they can be operated from its network headquarters.
Finally, here is facilities info for the three full power FMs EMF is getting in the deal.

* WMHK-FM Columbia SC is a Class C on 89.7 MHz with 100 kW @ 1,398’

* WRCM-FM Wingate NC is a Class C2 on 91.9 MHz with 30 kW @ 495’, serving the Charlotte market

* WRZM-FM Boiling Springs NC is a Class C2 on 88.3 MHz with 50 kW @ 302’, serving the area between Charlotte NC and Spartanburg SC.
