moving_truckFollowing an FCC rulemaking, Entravision television outlet KCEC-TV Denver CO will be moving to a new home on the dial as soon as the printers of the Federal Register can publish the ruling and put the wheels for the move in motion.

The FCC has been expediting requests to move away from the upper reaches of the television spectrum to accommodate wireless companies moving into  the 700 MHz band, eliminating possible interference before it has a chance to occur.

The KCEC move will take it from Channel 51 to Channel 26.

Entravision has promised to file the necessary paperwork to get construction permits for the move. The FCC has asked that it be submitted within 30 days.
