The Emmis-Big Boy court litigation has been settled.
Emmis sued the air talent and former bodyguard for breach of contract early last year after he left Emmis-owned KPWR(FM) to go to work for rival iHeart-owned KHHT(FM) in Los Angeles.
The terms are private and both sides will pay their own attorney’s fees.
Big Boy, whose real name is Kurt Alexander, received $3.5M in annual salary and other benefits from Emmis, the company said when it filed the lawsuit.
