Dow breaks 5-day winning streak

Stock market fell on Wednesday, with the Dow snapping a five-day winning streak and retreating from the record level reached on Tuesday. The blue-chip index recorded its first triple-digit decline in three weeks. The S&P closed 6.90 points, or 0.4%, lower at 1,943.89. The Dow dropped 102.04 points, or 0.6%, to 16,843.88. The Nasdaq ended the day down 6.07 points, or 0.1% at 4,331.93.


The RBR Radio Index was down 7.330, or .8%, to 894.092.

The TVBR Television Index was down 4.340, or .5%, to 878.444.
