SoldThere have been some changes on the buyer’s side of a deal for WIWN-TV Milwaukee, but the basic outline of the deal is unchanged. And according to brokerage firm Kalil & Co., it’s complete.

The station is licensed to Fond du Lac WI and operates on Channel 5 as an independent.

It was sold by David Stapleton, trustee for Pappas Telecasting of Wisconsin/WWAZ License, LLC.

The buyer was originally Caballero Acquisition LLC, but the name of the new license company is now Milwaukee Media LLC. Randy Nonberg and Terry Crosby are still associated with the buyer, and CNZ Communications is still its primary backer.

The price of the transaction was $1.8M.
