Wall Street had a mixed Monday as Apple dropped again and dragged other stocks with it. But a good report on retail sales boosted the blue chips, so the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 72 points, or 0.6%, to 12,921. A gain in retail sales is good news for broadcasters and both radio and TV stocks gained on Monday.
The RBR Radio Index was up 6.358, or 1.7%, to 390.146.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.342, or 0.6%, to 242.210.
