Danziger group buys in Upstate NY

SoldNot only is Bob Mahlman a partner of Bruce Danziger and three others under the Long Point Communications brand, he was also the broker of a deal that is bringing in four AMs, three FMs and a quintet of FM translators.

The seller is Finger Lakes Radio Group.

Alan Bishop is listed as President of the seller.

The stations include AC WNYR-FM, Classic Rock WLLW-FM, Hot Country WFLK-FM/WCGR-AM, Country WFLR-AM, and New-Talk-Sports WGVA-AM/WAUB-AM,

According to Mahlman, who naturally represented the seller, the price is $3.375M and closing is expected to take place as the new year is rung in.

The other three members of Long Point are Eric Siversten, Ken Barlow and Keith Thomas.

According to Mahlman, the stations serve the area between Rochester and Syracuse.
