Cumulus ups John Gallagher; Andy Stuart named RVP in Toledo
Cumulus Media has promoted John Gallagher to Regional Vice President, where he will oversee Cumulus’ station clusters in Appleton/Oshkosh, WI, and in Green Bay, WI. Gallagher will also serve as Market Manager of the Appleton/Oshkosh cluster. Gallagher replaces Tom Joerres, who has been acting as interim Market Manager for the Appleton/Oshkosh and Green Bay clusters. Gallagher was Vice President/Market Manager of Cumulus Toledo, and brings more than 20 years’ experience in radio management for some of the most well-known stations in the country. He also managed sales teams at WJR and WRIF in Detroit, WLS in Chicago, and KCMO in Kansas City.
Cumulus also announced Andy Stuart has been named Regional Vice President/Market Manager of Cumulus Toledo’s seven-station cluster in Toledo. Stuart comes to Cumulus from Clear Channel, where he served as Regional Vice President and Market Manager of Clear Channel’s Toledo stations for over 24 years. During that time, he led the consolidation of six radio stations into one operating group, through with record audience and revenue levels were achieved. As Regional Vice President, his area of responsibility grew to include Clear Channel’s radio assets in Northern Ohio markets including Toledo, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Lima, Defiance, Napoleon, Ashland, Mansfield and Findlay.
