A quartet of Republican members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce want more information from FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler on the plan to close two thirds of the FCC’s field offices. Radio companies have expressed concern that the move will damage for fight against FM piracy.
The members include Chair Fred Upton (R-MI), Communications Subcommittee Chair Greg Walden (R-OR), Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chair Tim Murphy (R-PA) and member Mike Pompeo (R-KS).
