A 24-year telecommunications tech sales executive who most recently served as VP/Worldwide Sales & Business Development at North Carolina-based ImmediaTV has taken the role of VP/North and South American Sales at Cobalt Digital.

Suzana Brady is based in Charlotte, and has held top sales roles at International Datacasting Corp., SkyStream Networks/Ericsson, and 3COM.

The move comes following Cobalt’s acquisition of ImmediaTV in Sept. 2016.

Commenting on Brady’s new role, Cobalt CEO Bob McAlpine said, “Suzana offers great organizational skills along with many years of broadcast sales and fluency in multiple languages.”

Concurrently, Cobalt has promoted six-year Director/International Sales & Business Development Bob Nicholas to VP/International Sales.

“Our organization has shifted to a more tiered management team,” McAlpine said of the new roles for Brady and Nicholas. “This structure allows us to make quicker decisions, focus more on specific issues, and ultimately accomplish more to achieve the growth we’re after. These promotions are part of that new structure.”

Cobalt Digital designs and manufactures 2G/3G/HD/SD and IP-based conversion, terminal, throwdown, and multiviewer technology for the broadcast television environment. As a founding partner in the openGear® initiative, Cobalt offers openGear video and audio processing card solutions for applications such as closed-caption compliance monitoring, OB production, master control, HD news production, signal transport, audio loudness, and color correction.
