Here’s The Full Story Behind That Chicago Translator

By on Nov, 22 2016 with Comments 0

The acquisition of an FM translator with first-rate coverage of Chicago’s affluent northern and western neighborhoods will not involve the rebroadcast of SBS‘s regional Mexican WLEY-FM 107.9 in Chicago, as originally reported by RBR + TVBR.

It is now known that the translator will be used by the buyer to rebroadcast a forthcoming station set to air on the HD2 signal of WLEY, per an agreement in principle that is still to be formally finalized between SBS and Chicago-based Spectrum Development Group.
