BFoA / Broadcasters Foundation of AmericaAn organization with a schedule conflict is being accommodated so it can be on hand when NAB President/CEO Gordon Smith is awarded the Golden Mike Award by the Broadcasters Foundation of America.

Originally scheduled for 2/26/15, it has been moved back to 3/16/15.

The organization is an important one: The National Alliance of State Broadcasting Associations (NASBA).

“The state associations play a significant leadership role for radio and TV stations across the country,” noted Jim Thompson, President, Broadcasters Foundation of America.  “I am delighted we were able to accommodate their request so that they can join us in honoring Gordon and the NAB.”

In addition to honoring Smith, his entire organization is being recognized. The event will be held in New York City.
