It’s effective 5/21.  She’ll replace longtime Market President, JD Freeman, who announced his retirement last week. As Market President, Wilcox will oversee San Francisco’s overall operations including all station activities and events to help drive sales and achieve revenue targets. She will leverage the market’s assets including its brands and audience to generate new revenue while providing quality programming. Wilcox is promoted from within Clear Channel San Francisco, where she has served as Vice President of Sales since 2009, leading a team of more than 50 sellers, managers and staff to identify opportunities for the seven station cluster ¬ she joined Clear Channel San Francisco in 2006 as General Sales Manager. Wilcox’s prior roles include positions as Local and General Sales Manager at CBS in Portland and San Francisco, as well as Director at CBS Promotions Group.

“Although I have big shoes to fill, my past experience with my partners in programming and operations give me great confidence that this talented team will continue to thrive in the future,” said Wilcox.  “I am energized by the challenge ahead and look forward to serving the expanding needs of our listeners, clients and staff.”

“This is a great opportunity for Katie–she is a talented sales leader and will continue to drive success for Clear Channel San Francisco,” said Hartley Adkins, Executive Vice President of Operations, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.  “Our clients will benefit from the continuity of leadership, which will continue to bring value to our advertisers and listeners as we continue to provide a greater reach than any other media outlet in San Francisco.”
