CBS Crosses Upfront Finish Line

CBSCBS Network is the first broadcast network to wrap up upfront sales.


CBS Corp. Chair/CEO Leslie Moonves had said the company anticipated double-digit upfront increases, and it did secure 3 to 5% volume increase over last year, reported Adweek.

Retail, financial, pharmaceutical and telecom categories were strongest, with more contracts moving from C3 to C7 viewing.

CBS is introducing six of its in-house owned and produced series this fall.
