Stocks were lower Wednesday after payroll giant ADP reported that US employment in the private sector dropped in March, which was the opposite of what observers had expected. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was off 51 points, or 0.5%, to 10,857. Broadcasting stocks, however, gained on the day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.065, or 0.8%, to 261.205.
The TVBR Television Index was up 7.596, or 4.8%, to 164.474.
