Broadcasters avoid Hong Kong woes

Analysts said activity in Hong Kong and China had investors “spooked,” and although they eventually rallied it was still a down day. But not for broadcasters! Both radio and television had modest gains as a group.

The RBR Radio Index rose 3.439, or 0.5%, to 740.984.

The TVBR Television Index rose 1.991, or 0.3%, to 739.757.

Emmis, up 2.9%
SBS, up 2.6%
Beasley, up 2.1%

Saga, down 1.3%
Entercom, down 1.2%
Cumulus, down 1.0%
