Beasley made revenue gains in the third quarter, however the radio operator reported lower net earnings due to its station swap with CBS Radio last December.
That’s when Beasley swapped five of its stations in Philadelphia and Miami-Fort Lauderdale for 14 of CBS Radio Tampa-St. Petersburg, Charlotte and Philadelphia.
The broadcast owner is finding the integration and transition harder and more time-consuming than expected, said CFO Caroline Beasley in an earnings webcast.
