Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc.Just as Beasley Broadcast Group gets set to transfer its Miami radio assets to CBS as part of their epic swap, it is making a play to retain a toehold in the market with an FM translator. Broker: Greg Guy, Patrick Communications.

The station is W245BC, licensed to Lauderdale Lakes. It operates on 96.9 MHz with 67 W @ 131’.

The seller is Reach Communications.

The price: $190,000 cash.

Beasley is headed by George Beasley.

The station serves a portion of the market due west from Fort Lauderdale, a community it gets with its secondary contour.

Beasley stations in the market that are on their way to CBS include WPOW-FM, WKIS-FM and WQAM-AM.
