NAB-WheelerAt the NAB Show FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler said the agency would release the spectrum auction clearing target for the incentive auction by the end of the month.

He did that Friday, specifying 126 MHz as the clearing target, the maximum amount possible.

This is an indication of how many television stations intend to sell their spectrum at auction.

The commission will conduct mock auctions May 25 and 26th. The reverse auction begins May 31.
