What a difference we see in the rankings for the top TV programs in Nielsen’s Household ratings and the ratings for the 18-49 demo prized by many advertisers. The top five shows last week in 18-49 were two nights of “American Idol” on Fox, “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS and two nights of “The Voice” on NBC. Of those, only Idol made it into the top five for HH. Conversely, the top show in HH, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” was back at #7 in 18-49.
In HH CBS was on top with an average 5.4 rating and 9 share, followed by ABC at 5.2/9, Fox 4.5/7, NBC 3.3/5, Univision 1.9/3, CW 0.8/1, Ion and Telemundo 0.7/1, TeleFutura 0.3/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.
In 18-49 Fox was at 2.3/7, with ABC 2.0/6, CBS 1.7/5, NBC 1.6/5, Univision 1.5/4, CW 0.5/2, Telemundo 0.5/1, TeleFutura and Ion 0.3/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
