TRN - Talk Radio NetworkTRN Entertainment’s America’s Morning News has a new permanent host to anchor its three-hour morning news program. Matt Ray, who has been a regular Bay Area on-air anchor for Cumulus Media in San Francisco, has been appointed the primary anchor. He’s a 12-year broadcast vet whose stints include KXL Portland, KGO-AM and KSFO-AM, San Francisco, and has produced a top-ranked local news program on KPAY-AM, Chico, CA.

“It is an exciting opportunity to work with the team at America’s Morning News,” says Matt, who adds, “our focus continues to be journalism without agenda – the key ingredient to the success of America’s Morning News: compelling, breaking news and interviews delivered in a fast-paced environment.”

Mark Masters, CEO of Talk Radio Network Syndications, Ltd., which continues to represent America’s Morning News in syndication, says “Matt was a natural fit and he tested overwhelmingly positive. His credentials are impressive and we think Matt will take the morning news to new levels of success in the years to come. We are thrilled to see Matt on board at AMN.”
