SoldNon-profit Evangel Heights Assembly of God intends to sell a Pennsylvania AM station.


WAVL is licensed to Apollo, Pa, which is part of the Pittsburgh Nielsen Radio Market (#26).

The buyer is Colonial Radio Group, based in Bradford, Pa. The shareholders are Jeffrey and Christy Andrulonis.

The price is $50,000. A credit of $25,000 was to be made by the buyer to the seller for broadcast airtime as part of a Time Brokerage Agreement. Another $25,000 is due at closing by promissory note, consisting of two $12,500 payments on June 30 and Dec. 31, 2016 with zero percent interest. The buyer will make one hour of airtime each week available to the seller to provide programming as well as airtime for 10 thirty-second promos a week until Dec. 31, 2018.

WAVL is authorized for 5,000 watts day/69 watts night; currently off the air, it operates from a two-tower array on 910 kHz.

Gear included in the sale includes a BE transmitter, Belar modulation monitor, Orban processor and Moseley STL.
