A Hefty Cable TV Entry For Hyundai

Hyundai is huge on cable TV.

In last week’s Media Monitors Cable Spot Ten report, ads for the all-electric Hyundai Ioniq appeared out of nowhere, to take advantage of the spring car buying season.

For the week ending Sunday, April 16, the Korean auto maker placed at No. 6, with 26,383 commercials at the cable TV networks tracked by Media Monitors.

Overall, Burger King held on to No. 1, with 38,078 spots.

Liberty Mutual Insurance secured No. 2 again with 33,763 ads and GEICO remained at No. 3 with 30,380 commercials.

Allstate held steady at No. 4 with 28,219 spots and Taco Bell moved up to No. 5 with 27,760 ads.

Trivago ascended all the way from No. 23 to No. 10 running 20,612 spots.
