Shopping / Christmas / HolidayAccording to CFI Group, and in contrast to an earlier report published by RBR-TVBR, consumers intend to pull back their holiday spending a bit this year, and will be looking for bargains on the purchases they do make.

CFI says that 20% of those surveyed plan to spend $700 or more, down from 22% a year ago, and 44% plan to buy gifts for seven or more people, down from 49% a year ago. 21% will be buying for only from one to three people, and unfortunately, that percentage is up from last year’s 14%.
