Hubbard’s WIL-FM St. Louis morning driver Judi Diamond and her friend Kate Frisina-White debut in a new reality-comedy show “MFF: Mom Friends Forever.” It premieres at 10:30 pm ET on Monday, 10/1 as a part of the Nick Jr. cable channel’s NickMom, TV’s new primetime comedy block just for moms.
“MFF: Mom Friends Forever” follows Diamond (who is part of 92.3 WIL’s “The Cornbread Morning Show”) and her real BFF and video-blogging partner Kate Frisina-White, as they amusingly grapple with the everyday life of working moms Nick Jr. is introducing the NickMom programming – described as “making motherhood mother funny” – to appeal to women viewers, after their kids are in bed. Nick Jr. currently reaches almost 75 million household via cable, digital cable and satellite TV.
The new NickMom show was born out of Diamond’s and Frisina-White’s popular video blog LipsticknLaundry.com. Diamond and Frisina-White created the website and video blog in 2007, and up until it was turned into “MFF: Mom Friends Forever”, the two women hosted LipsticknLaundry.com from St. Louis for the past 4 years. Both Diamond and Frisina-White reside in West County.

Dear whoever will listen:
I am writing to ask you to support the real NICK MOMS and DADS. The program NICKMOM aired on NICKR has upset several members of the target audience TODDLERS! On their behalf we are stressing our disagreement for the past X years; NICKJR has been a channel for toddlers that were on 24/7. Your company advertises on this program. Please research the kind of filth being aired. I doubt you would support such programming on a children’s network. For more info visit the NickMom FB page. You will see all the negative comments about the show.
The purpose of this movement is to move the program to another channel or cancel it altogether. Our toddlers should not hear foul mouthed mothers. For example, using words like; p*nis, f@ck, b#t@h, t@tt$%s, va@&na, as@$, damn and s@x! It is really inappropriate for our children? Yes all those words were heard on the all “preschool” channel.
I think that this is an important situation. It will benefit the community at large by assisting us in our movement. Several parents have formed webpages, petitions, face book events, and even groups. Here is the main link : http://www.cancelnickmom.com

I was VERY confused!!!!! And I asked her what she was talking about and I called my husband into the bathroom to watch our sons and she showed me where she got it from…… it was on NICK JR.!!! NICKMOM WAS ON!!!!! I WAS IN SHOCK!!!!!
*Are we ever going to get a response from them about what came over them to take our children’s cartoons away? They can at least have the common decency to give us a reply. We just want our kids shows back at night time!
*I find your new nickmom offensive and cannot believe that you would put this on a channel that is supposed to be for children 24/7! You want to give moms a time out, yet you are disturbing the very little time I do get because my kids are no longer watching the kid shows that are supposed to be on your channel! So explain to me how your programming is supposed to give me some mom time! What makes you think that the offensive junk you put on there is how I would want to spend my momtime…. oh yes i would like to listen to crap for a few hours to relax! cancel your programming or at least put it on a channel that doesn’t involve my preschooler! oh and just in case you decide to block me…. i have already called my satellite provider and signed any petition i can get my hands on against nickmom!

Give me a break! My child isn’t watching Nick Jr. After 8pm, 9 at the very latest. I like NickMom and I hope it stays on the air. Its fun to watch while im up doing laundry until midnight. (do moms ever really get a break??) If you don’t live on the east coast, I can see that it might be a problem if they don’t adjust the schedule to the time zone, but otherwise, I think it’s great.
Sex, Alcohol, Profanity, Racist Jokes, Hate, Anti-Children sentiment, and exteme adult content, have absolutely no business being on a preschool channel.
What are you people thinking I was babysitting for my nephews and i put it on this channel and couldn’t believe what they were saying. Talking about having alot of Dick’s and Balls this has no business on a childrens channel.
I babysit my grandaughter practically all the time. When my daughter gets a chance to go out the weekends me and my grandaughter stay up til late. before I could always count on Nick Jr. This content is incredibly inappropriate for a childrens channel no matter what the time may be! Sad to say but Nick Jr is losing an incredible amount of viewers because of this. Faithful patrons are now changing to the disney channel and other channels that have childrens programs at those hours..I SAY NO TO NICK MOM AND SO DO MANY OTHERS!!!!
